
One Magnificent Day in DuPage

Oak Brook, IL – The DuPage Convention & Visitors Bureau recently hosted its 2nd annual One Magnificent Day in DuPage, a fam tour that allowed 26 qualified meeting planners from four states to experience DuPage County up close and personal.
The day began with “Breakfast at Tiffany’s” at Tiffany & Co. in Oakbrook Center and continued with a pre-opening look at the brand new Westin Lombard Yorktown Center, team building at the Corporate Learning Institute at Marriott Hickory Ridge Conference Hotel, and lunch at Oak Brook Hills Marriott Resort.
The tour continued with stops at Drury Lane Theatre—Hilton Hotels Oakbrook Terrace and Eaglewood Resort & Spa Bowling and Activity Center. A tasting and tour of Lynfred Winery followed, then a memorabilia presentation at Hamburger University at McDonald’s Campus and finally a reception at the Hyatt Lodge at McDonald’s Campus.

“It was a phenomenal day, and I can’t believe we covered that many properties in one day,” said Steven Stocker, Systems Manager for Oscar Mayer in Madison, WI. “With such a great itinerary, the day was definitely a memory. And DuPage has a very fun CVB,” he added.
